Welcome

Hi everyone, KJ here!

I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea until I was about 14 and a half, and then I moved to Sacramento, California, where I attended high school and learned to speak English.

Right after high school, I took a gap year and moved to Germany. I lived in Muenster for about 8 months and learned to speak German. Muenster is a beautiful small college town in northwest Germany; it’s a very lively town, and the most amazing part is that you can bike everywhere! I met so many incredible people from all over the world and got to travel a bit as well within Europe. It was definitely one of the most wonderful years of my life.

Living in three different countries definitely was an incredible learning experience for me (and it still is as it’s still a process), and the experience has fundamentally changed who I am. I have become a much more grateful and open-minded person.

Since then, I’ve always been a huge fan of traveling. I believe that traveling, meeting people, and experiencing different cultures are some of the most amazing things one can do in their lives. I have met so many inspiring people on the road and to be able to interact with them, learn their perspectives, hear their thoughts and just to be able to share each other’s experience in a completely foreign world is such a magical and beautiful thing!

I have so much more to see, explore and learn, but I wanted to share some of my travel journey and hopefully inspire some of you along the way to travel more.

I also wanted to share some of the tips that I learned while traveling, like how I find cheap flights or even just recommendations for some of my favorite restaurants/food places in certain cities.

I hope that some of you guys find this blog useful and hopefully fun to read!

Thank you for reading 🙂 Happy travels!

Love,
KJ
